Naloxone (Narcan) in New Hampshire

Addiction is a chronic, often relapsing disease with sometimes deadly consequences, especially given the way synthetic opioids are found in many drug supplies. The opioid reversal medication naloxone (narcan) is provided free-of-charge at many of the state's funded recovery community organizations (RCOs). Doorways will also provide kits to individuals on site and many pharmacies in the granite state also operate under a universal prescription (called standing orders). Kits are frequently covered by health insurance, but people interested in securing a naloxone at a pharmacy are encouraged to call first to ensure the medication is in stock.

Find a RCO in your area, connect with a regional Doorway, or pick up a kit at a pharmacy below that is operating with a standing order. (Please call ahead first.)
